Adding Tags to Products

Tags are very flexible and have many different uses. When using tags to organize your products, you will first need to add a new tag. When adding a tag to your product, simply scroll down to the area labeled: Tags, type in the desired name of the tag, then select add a tag. This new tag will be available under tags and can be used to organize any of your products.

First, select each product you wish to include in the tag, then click more actions. > Add tags. If your desired tag is not listed, add a new tag. Otherwise, select the tag, then all selected products will be listed under that tag.

Here are some examples for a technology store's Product tag names:

-Chargers

-Wires

-Cables

To search for products with the tags you have created. Go to your products page > Select the "Tagged with"  arrow and type in the name of your desired tag.

Adding Tags to Orders

Select the orders you wish to add a tag to > Click Add new tag > Select the tag you wish to add, then save.

When organizing orders, you can use the following examples for tag names:

- Packaged

- Delivered

- Return

- Paid

These tag names will be helpful for quickly locating these kinds of orders. They are also good for knowing which orders require further action and those that are complete.
